13-year-old missing from Texas; may have crossed into Mexico FOUND

UPDATE 12/4/17 – The Mexico police located Ashlee in Mexico.  She is safe and will be returned to the US.

Her parents told San Antonio’s KHOU TV that she had run away to meet a 29-year-old man she had been talking to on social media and over the phone for the past year.  They had taken away her phone and reported the man to police, but she still managed to get in contact with him.  Her parents also learned their 13-year-old convinced someone to buy her a bus ticket in Katy.

Original story: Ashlee Hattermann, 13, is a missing person from Texas.  She was last seen at Thornton MS in Katy, Texas.  The FBI is heading her case and they stated they believe she traveled to Laredo and crossed into Mexico on Friday night.  There is no information who she could be traveling with or other circumstances surrounding her case.

Officials described the girl as 5’7” and 130 pounds with long brown hair and blue eyes. Video surveillance in a convenience store shows her wearing blue jeans and brown boots with a blue jacket and glasses.
