Missing Person Idaho

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office stated today they have located the body of Christine Lott from Priest River.  Steve Lott, Christine’s husband told police he and Christine had argued the day she vanished.  She asked to be dropped off at a grocery store, where she made a call on a pay phone.  She was last seen getting into a red truck with Washington plates and a man driving.  Steve also told police when she didn’t come home that night and he spent two days calling all their friends to try to find her before notifying police, reports the Statesman.

The authorities stated that Christine’s remains were found in a remote wooded area of Kootenai County on a Forest Service Road back in February, but have waited till now to released the information after they located her husband who was located in Arizona.  Her parents, Leonard Jr. and Lucille Kucera, were notified on Wednesday.  Christine left behind three children.

Christine’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

Anyone who may have had contact with the Lott Family in the 2004 period, or who may have information regarding this incident, are strongly urged to contact Major Crimes Detective J. Northrup by leaving a message at (208) 446-2237 or emailing him directly at jnorthrup@kcgov.us.
