Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office asks for help identifying Jane Doe by her tattoos IDENTIFIED

UPDATE 12/10/17 – The body has been identified as Cindy Easom.  Investigators from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and KBI are currently investigating her death as a homicide.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Kansas posted on their Facebook page asking for the public’s help to identify a Jane Doe that was found at the Card Creek camping area east of Independence in Kansas on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017. Hunters called 911 after they saw the woman floating in the water about a quarter of a mile south of the boat ramp.

Investigators from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the KBI are investigating the woman’s death as a homicide. They released photos of tattoos on the woman’s body which you can look at to see if you recognize them.

Anyone who has information about her death is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 620-330-1000.
