There is a Silver Alert for a missing 80 year-old woman from Roswell, New Mexico. On Sunday, December 3, 2017 Leotta Talbert was last seen at the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell. Surveillance video shows Leotta leaving the hospital. She located her 2011 white Ford Fiesta car and drove it away. She exited the parking lot heading south on Kentucky Avenue.
Roxann Talbert Artino, Leotta’s oldest daughter posted, “You are right she was there on Friday. Made a small withdrawal and paid her car insurance. I talked to her that day. She went to the ER for a check and blood pressure medicine she ran out of. She did not expect to stay overnight. My sister was with her at 11:30 Sunday morning. Was returning to fetch Mom after lunch. As she was being released. Only more than likely Mom got impatient and left. Or thought she was free to go. The hospital called my sister about 3:30 stating Mom was missing. Cameras show she left at 1:20 fully dressed in her own clothes, in her car. From that moment she disappears. We don’t believe she ever made it home.”
Leotta has dementia and is considered endangered and she is 5’7″ tall with blue eyes and white hair. Her Ford Fiesta has New Mexico plates of 502SBM.Information regarding Leotta’s whereabouts can be passed to the Roswell Police Department at (575) 624-6770.
