Shanequa Quanee Sullivan,23, from Atlanta was identified as the girl found in the Yellow river.  She was last seen leaving her job as a janitor at the airport 40 miles away.

Original Story:

The authorities are seeking to identify a girl found in the Yellow River in Georgia. The girl was found by a fisherman on Saturday in an area south of Rocky Plains Road in Newton County. The authorities believe she is between 12 and 17 years old. The authorities have gone back over a year and a half and have not found anyone reported missing in their county, that would match the body found.

The most recent young female who went missing an hour away is Alexcia Anderson.

 The coroner’s office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Medical Examiner’s Office are still working to determine the cause and manner of death as deputies try to learn her identity.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have information to call 678-898-0658 or 678-898-0506.
