SC teen Malik Spencer went missing on way to school, car found abandoned FOUND

February 5, 2019 – The body of missing Malik Spencer was found in brush off of US 78, authorities stated. An autopsy determined he had died as the result of gunshot wound and the death was ruled a homicide. Condolences to his family.

Original Story – Malik Spencer, 18, has been missing from Lobeco, South Carolina since December 18, 2018. He was last seen at his home getting ready to go to school at Whale Branch High School.

His mom remembers before she left for work, “I gave him $10 for a pizza,” she said. “I told him to have a good day and I love him,” reports the Island Packet.

Malik never made it to school. His car was found abandoned by Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office in a rural area of Beaufort County on Dec. 21.

Friends and family are offering a $2,000 reward for any information that results in finding Spencer. The reward is held in a nonprofit account by Love House Ministries.
