Couple missing from Texas after “goodbye” text

February 16, 2019, Alfonso Hernandez was found dead in White Rock Lake on Sunday morning, according to the Grand Prairie Police Department. Weltzin is still missing.

Weltzin Garcia, 26, and her boyfriend, Alfonso Hernandez, were reported missing on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from their home in Grand Prairie, Texas, around 1:30 a.m.. Alfonso sent his family a “goodbye” text the same day, reports the Star Telegram.

A few weeks ago Weltzin and Hernandez were in a domestic dispute, which lead to a restraining order against Alfonso, the family told the media. The police also issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez.

The last location on Weltzin’s cell phone showed White Rock Lake in Dallas. The couple’s car was found near White Rock Lake, but nothing was found after a search of the area.

Weltzin’s sister. Atziry stated, “Alfonso, if you have my sister, please bring her back. If you don’t wanna go back with your family, it’s fine. But I’m sure my sister wants to get back with her kids. Please just bring my sister back… Alive or dead, just tell us something. We just want to know… Just need an answer for your kids.”

Weltzin Garcia has black long hair, brown eyes, 5’1″ tall and 104 pounds with no tattoos, and no piercings.

They both could be traveling in a black 4-door Honda Accord with Texas plates CF2F299.
