Do you know who Seminole Doe is?

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to identify a John Doe that was found in Alabama.

“On March 26, 2000, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body from Styx River in the Seminole community of Baldwin County, Alabama,” states the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. “The body was found in the river just south of the Hwy. 90 bridge. The body was that of an Asian or Native American male 47-53 years of age. The person would be 66-72 years of age today. He was further described as 5’5” to 5’7” inches tall and weighed approximately 150 pounds. He had dark hair and a goatee. The person had several distinctive tattoos on his body.”

The Sheriff’s Office is hoping, through our media partners and social media outlets, that the public will share this information so the family can bring this person home. There was no foul play suspected in this case.

If anyone has information about this case, please contact the Investigations Command of the Sheriff’s Office: 251-972-8589 or the Communications Division: 251-937-0202.”
