UPDATE 6/21/21 – The Grays Harbor Police have arrested Paul Bicker and charged with rape, kidnapping, burglary, felony harrassment and stealing a car in connection with the 2003 case of a teen after DNA evidence linked him. Now they are investigating him to see if there is a connection with the Lindsey Baum case. He was living in the area when Lindsey disappeared. The teen he abducted was driven to the same area where Lindsey’s body was found. Luckily, the teen ws able to escape, but the man was never found. The DNA found on the teen was submitted for genealogy testing a few months ago and it came back to a list of possible suspects, which led them to Bicker. They took his DNA that he had discarded and it matched to the DNA found on the teen.
The Grayson Police Dept. have announced that the body of Lindsey Baum has been found. Remains were found by hunters last year in the Oregon forest. When DNA was finally done, it was discovered that the body belong to Lindsey Baum. The exact location, and other circumstances are not being stated by the police at this time.
Lindsey’s remains were found in September by hunters in Eastern Washington. The police did not put a rush on the case as they didn’t know the remains belong to any ongoing cases. The FBI crime lab for DNA analysis showed the remains belonged to Lindsey in recent weeks.
Entry back in 2011: It has been 8 months since I have written about Lindsey Baum, the 11 year-old that vanished while walking home from a friend’s house in McLeary, Washington on June 26, 2009.
At that writing in June 2010, the latest news was that the FBI was asking the public to help them identify a man and a boy in a video that was taken inside a Shell-mart Gas Station on the night that Lindsey went missing.
