An amateur sleuth, Marcelino Italiano, is saying that he knows that Madeleine McCann was snatched in 2007 by an Algarve-based paedophile ring.

The club bouncer said: “I know these people were involved and I have been told that Madeleine may now be in America.”

Madeleine McCann was almost 4 when she disappeared from a hotel room at the  Praia da Luz resort while her parents were dining with friends.
