Update:  James Abriel, 19, was found and appeared to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Santa Rosa Police said.

Police are searching for a Sonoma State University student that has been missing since April 25.

James Abriel, 19, was last seen in Walnut Creek on April 21.  He is from Orinda, California.

During the police investigation they found several suicide notes that spoke of his recent break up, dated April 14th.

Taylor Dickinson, a friend of James, said that he knew about the break up and they had broken up before and it was for the best. 

Abriel has dark blond hair,  6-foot-1 and weighs 180 pound.  He drives a white four-door 1999 Toyota Camry with license plate number 4GYG766.
