Although it has not been confirmed, the body of Dawna Natzke, 46, a dispatcher for the Hot Springs Village police, may have been found.  Dawna has been missing for eight days and today police have found a body several miles from her Hot Springs, Arkansas home, according to ABC news.

Dawna’s car was found in the Oauchita National Forest and it was burned.

Police will not confirm it is Dawna’s body, but the family has been notified that a body has been found. Natzke’s partially submerged body was discovered in a pond on West Main Haul Road off Arkansas 298, which was about five miles from where Natzke’s torched car had been found, reports the Benton Courier .

“The police told us, yes, they found a body, but it’s not confirmed to be Dawna, but we all know,”  Debbie Shingler, Dawna’s sister told the Associated Press.

Police suspect foul play in the death but no suspects have been named.

“She’s family, and we’re doing everything we can do to find her, said Lt. Ricky Middleton.

Police have been criticized for not started the search sooner
