Ron Kirk: Missing hiker in Las Vegas Found

UPDATE:  Darrell Kirk, the brother of Ron says the keys to his brother’s car were found with the body on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at a hiking area called Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area about 20 miles west of the Las Vegas strip. 

The body was released to the Clark county Coroner’s office for identification.
No foul play is suspected. 

Ron Kirk, 46, was last heard from on January 17, when he sent a text message saying he was going hiking in Las Vegas. 

Ron was reported missing on Sunday.

Ron’s car was found near Calico Basin in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area near Las Vegas.

Police have been searching for him and he has not been found yet. 

Volunteers and friends of Ron gathered at the Calico Basin on Wednesday to search for him.
