Kortne Stouffer: Missing Person Pennsylvania

Kortne Stouffer, 21, from Palmyra, Pennsylvania has been missing since last Sunday, July 29, 2012.

Kortne was last seen at her home on the 800 block of West Main Street around 3:15 a.m.  Police responded to her West Main Street apartment at 3:15 a.m. on July 29 after receiving noise complaints by Kortne’s dog, Shelby. Police made everyone go back to their own apartments and then left at 3:49 a.m.  Kortne had just come home from dancing at a club in Harrisburg.  She was wearing a yellow tank top and black shorts splattered with bright colors. This is the last time she was seen.
The police were called back to the apartment again, about “banging and stomping” from the apartment around 4 in the morning, but this time no one answered the door.

The Lebanon County District Attorney is calling Kortne’s disappearance as suspicious.
“We don’t know if it’s criminal or not, but we’re investigating it like it’s criminal,” said District Attorney David Arnold reports

Kortney’s boyfriend was away for the weekend.  Kortne and he were saving money to buy a house.

Kortne Stouffer, a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School, worked three jobs, as a hairstylist, a dog groomer and in the office at her father’s company, Stouffer Equipment Co., Grantville. She did not show up for work on Monday, he said.Police described her as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 115 pounds, with blond hair worn in dreadlocks and green eyes.

She had a tattoo with the words “one love” on her right bicep, another one with stars on her left foot and a third one of flowers and a pistol on her left hip.
There is a $24,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of Kortne.

  2. My husband drives route 222 to work everyday from lancaster to md. He told me tonight that he saw a person laying on the side of the road in a field close to the md line. On his way home he saw them again about a half mile up. he didn't stop bc someone else had. But he recalled the person having dreadlocks and lighter hair color. I thought that I should chime in bc we drive that road for years now and it was very strange to hear that
