Sarah Birney and George Deblanc: Missing from Louisiana Found

Sarah_Birney.jpg UPDATE:  11/19/12 – 11 p.m.: Police located Birney and her grandson, and they are safe.

Sarah Birney, 78, was last seen with her grandson, George Deblanc, 7, Sunday morning in Fontainebleau, Louisiana.  They had gone for a walk around 11:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Fern Street.  Birney has been diagnosed with early Alzheimer’s and George has autism.  

Birney is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing around 125 pounds with gray hair. She was last seen wearing brown sweatpants and a maroon windbreaker. Deblanc is described as 3 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing about 65 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing plaid pants and a gray T-shirt.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sarah Birney and George Deblanc is asked to call the New Orleans Police department at 504.821.2222.
