Nick Wilcox: UWM student missing in Wisconsin Found

UPDATE:  3/29/13 – Wilcox was found in the Milwaukee River by two  police officers in the 1000 block of N. Old World 3rd St.

The Milwaukee county Medical Examiner’s Office rules Wilcox’s death as an accidental drowning. A toxicology test is still pending and preliminary reports indicate no signs of trauma or injury.

The location where Wilcox may have fallen into the river is unknown.  In the medical examiner’s report he was found about 110 to 150 meters from where he was last seen. Wilcox was found with his cellphone, a set of keys and his wallet, containing his driver’s license.

Previous story:  Nick Wilcox a student at UWM from Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been missing since New Year’s Day.  He was last seen on Old World Third Street in Downtown Milwaukee outside the Irish Rec Room Bar.

He was with his girlfriend Kelly McGonagil and other friends, and then between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m., he disappeared.

“We were at the Irish Rec Room and I watched him get carried out by the bouncers. That was the last I saw of him. I tried calling him shortly after and his phone was dead,” Wilcox’s girlfriend, Kelly McGonagil, told WISN news.

According to an e-mail from a friend, the bar manager said that Nick left with another man in a red shirt, according to TMJ news. They did not know who the man was, but McGonagil believe it might have been her friend’s boyfriend.

Wilcox is described as 6′ 2″, 180 lbs, with blonde hair with blue eyes.
He was wearing a dark gray shirt with dark jeans and black shoes.
