UPDATE:  5/26/13 -The Chrysler that police were looking for was stopped by a Missouri State Patrol trooper Saturday night. Monty’s father, Ronald Turner, was driving and was arrested on a charge of complicity to commit second-degree kidnapping.

Father pepper sprays mom, abducts son and takes off on a bicycle

The police are looking for a 3-year-old boy that was taken by his dad after he attacked the boy’s mother in Colorado on Saturday.

Monty Ray Turner, 51, allegedly kicked in the door to the Longmont home where his estranged wife, Brandy Turner and Luke Turner lived.  He then used a stun gun on Brandy and pepper-sprayed her.

An Amber alert has been issued for Monty as the authorities are concerned about his welfare.  The FBI has also been called in to search for father and son. 

Authorities believe that Monty may be driving a 1999 white 4-door Chrysler 300 with Colorado license plate 161-ZXZ.
