Bones found may belong to Wende Marshall

On Monday, a man was arrested and charged for burning and burying a missing Texas woman.

Wende Marshall, 44, went missing from her home on the 11200 block of Fleur Drive near Montaigne in Harris County before Halloween on October 30.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search at Wende’s home and gathered evidence that they processed.

When they talked to the neighbors they told the detectives they believed Wende’s body had been burned as they saw Wende’s boyfriend, Colt Morgan, 29, burning something for several days, reports KHOU news.

Excavators were brought to the home’s backyard to begin digging and later a medical examiner appeared after her body was found.

Investigators believe that Morgan stabbed Wende to death after they had an argument.

Morgan is being held at the Harrris County jail on a $60,000 bail.

  1. I worked with Wende years ago in Iraq. I stumbled upon this news through facebook. She was very sweet and kind. I'm sad she's gone.
