UPDATE: 4/18/14 – The autopsy report has been done for Leanne. This was a tough case and seemed unbelievable she took her own life, but sometimes not all the information is released in a case. Now we find out that Leanne actually hanged herself. According to the autopsy report, Leanne used a clothesline and put it on a mountain cedar tree to hang herself and was found by the property owners in the neighborhood.
The finding by Central Texas Autopsy of Lockhart backs the suicide conclusion that Garden Ridge Police Chief Donna O’Conner announced Feb. 14.
UPDATE; 2/15/13 – Leanne’s death was ruled suicide by authorities.
UPDATE 2/13/14: Authorities in Texas believe they have found the body of Leanne on Thursday. Police received a phone call from a man around 12:15 p.m. saying there was a body “in a wooded area near his home in Garden Ridge,” city police Chief Donna O’Conner said.
No more information will be released until the cause of death is determined.
