Brian Butler missing from San Mateo

Brian Butler, 36, was reported missing Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 after his friends found his car abandoned off Highway 1 just south of the Tom Lantos Tunnels said Rebecca Rosenblatt, spokeswoman for the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

Brian is 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing jeans and a blue T-shirt at the time of his disappearance.

From Brian Butler’s Facebook page:  “Brian was working in a professional career as a sales consultant in the field of Internet Security. He was extremely successful; however, he was getting to the point of wondering if all the stresses that came with his success was worth it. He had mentioned several times he felt like going off the grid to de- stress. His friends were trying to lure him to join them in Humboldt County as becoming a trimmer around the time he went missing. However, Brian would have never stayed out of contact with his family and friends for this long. We are desperate for answers as to what happened to him. Please help us in finding Brian as we are lost without him.
