UPDATE 9/11/20- ABC12 News confirmed Eric Franks car was found in a garage in a west side neighborhood of a man named Gerald Rutledge. The woman Eric had a child with, Kendra Firmingham was a caretaker for Rutledge.
A man who recently bought the car, said the car was part of an estate sale in Saginaw, which would have been Rutledge’s estate sales. A new title was printed for the car on Aug. 21.
Eric’s mom, Jo Ann Franks, got a tip from a person in California that Eric’s car got an oil change in Clare on Aug. 31. The tipster watched a YouTube video of Eric’s case. She ran a Carfax report on his car and found out about the oil change and who had the car. Frank’s brother in law called the man who confirmed he still had the car. You can read more here
