A gas station surveillance video shows that a missing man was in a fight before he went missing.
Steven MacKrell, 25, of Fort Lauderdale has not been seen since July 30, after he was seen leaving the Lucky’s Tavern on West Las Olas Blvd. around 2:45 a.m. He was to meet his friends at Walgreens at Broward Blvd. but he never showed up.
Authorities tracking MacKrell’s credit card usages led them to the Valero gas station on N. Dixie Highway. The video from the station shows MacKrell engaging in some sort of argument with several people in a silver sedan, Fort Lauderdale Police Det. Kevin Dupree told the Sun Sentinel.
