
Several law enforcement agencies and more than 150 volunteers, showed up to help search.
Woodruff Police Chief Alan Bledsoe stated “All possible routes that Ms. Harris would have been likely to use were searched on foot. Anywhere where a vehicle could leave the road with a limited sightline was searched.” Unfortunately there have not been clues discovered yet so far, though the investigation continues.
There will be a ground search for Gayle starting on 221 on Friday. There will be a search on 26 also as that is the way she would have gone to the doctor. They are also searching to if her car went off the road. Please go to Help Us Find Gayle Harris for updates.

Chief Alan Bledsoe is announcing a search party, seeking volunteers to meet on Friday morning at 9:00am at the Food Lion, 926 North Main Street, Woodruff, South Carolina 29388. We will be conducting a foot search in the wooded areas between the guardrails on 221 between Woodruff and Spartanburg.
