UPDATE 10/12/16 – The Antigo Police Department have stated that the video was a hoax. They police found the video producer/camera man, actor and the actress in the video. “THIS VIDEO HAS NO CONNECTION TO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF KAYLA BERG,” the police said.
Original story: A MPof A reader, Brandii Kroening sent me a video that is shocking. First let me point out that the video has been dormat for over 7 years until now. The video shows a girl being bound laying on a bathroom floor and it has gotten lots of attention from the police and social media.
The police themselves are even saying they don’t know if the video is a hoax or not, and as you watch it you will probably agree. The video that is posted on You Tube is called “Hi Walter! I got a new gf today!” and it shows a man talking to a camera and the first thing he says is, “Hi Walter. I was at the mall today and guess what happened?” He goes on to tell the story about meeting a girl and shopping with her. The next shot is of him standing in front of a creepy door and he swings it open and we see a young woman laying on the floor, bound and screaming.
The below video has been taking down but you can watch it by clicking on this link.
It is hard to tell if it is a hoax or the real thing. It could be someone with bad taste making a video, or it could be someone that is completely off their rocker. There is arguments supporting both sides of that theory. The video that was actually made in 2009 is causing concern for the mother of missing Kayla Berg, as she is wondering if it is her daughter that is laying on the floor, screaming.
Kayla May Berg went missing on August 11, 2009, months before the video was made, from Antigo, Wisconsin. Kayla was last seen at her father’s home. She was picked up by Kevin J. Kielcheski around 8:30 p.m. The two arrived at McDonald’s half an hour later. Kayla ran inside, talked briefly with her friend, and then left. She had told her friend she planned to ride around in the car for a while, reports CNN, and according to The Charley Project they smoked weed before Kevin drove Kayla to her boyfriend’s house in Wausau, Wisconsin, which was around 10 p.m. Kevin said he never saw her go inside. Police confirmed Kevin returned home around midnight. Later it was found that the house he dropped her off at was actually condemned. No one knows if Kayla knew that or not. The police became concerned with the inconsistent stories from her friends and didn’t know if they were trying to hide that Kayla ran away or if it was foul play. They were concerned enough to bring the FBI in to investigate. Kayla was wearing a red spaghetti strap top with dark blue hoodie, blue jeans and a silver necklace.
The police went to a home and said the man they were looking for was not there, so they are still searching for him. There are rumors that the man lived in the same town as Kayla Berg, but I have not heard an official word on it. They must have the man’s name in order to be able to track him to the home, but from there the trail goes cold, and the police are asking for the public to let them know if they know where this man is now.
