Detroit toddler found wandering the street, mother missing

Nicole Smith, was last seen on Sunday, Dec 18, 2016. Smith’s grandfather, Conrad Green arrived at  12900 block of W. Chicago to take her home at  5 p.m. but she was not there.  “He said when he looked outside for the footprints, it went to the curb, apparently someone picked her up, who picked her up, we don’t know,”  Melanie Hunt told WKYZ news.

On Monday, Nicole’s 1-year-old son was found wandering by himself.  He was shown on the news and Green recognized him and picked him up at the police station.

The family has tried to call Nicole, but it goes directly to voice mail.  Nicole has had a stroke in the past and she suffers from seizures, and PTSD.

Nicole has black braided hair, brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, white gym shoes, a pink-and-white knit cap, and a red zip-up shoulder bag.
