NMSU students missing after hip hop concert in Las Cruces

Mckinnah Sinclair

UPDATE:  2/9/17 –   On Monday, McKinnah and Charlie were confirmed to be in Beverly Hills, Calif. after they were caught on a surveillance video at an ATM.  Police believe they traveled to California on their own, reported Las Cruces Sun-News, but they were still concerned for their welfare.  They had not been in contact with their family.  Then on Thursday, Feb. 9, in Idaho, a car was pulled over by a Nampa police officer when he noticed the car traveling very slowly.    He stopped the car and found it was being driven by Charlie Daniels.  McKinnah Sinclair was in the passenger seat.  After the stop the police officer found that the plate to the red Ford Focus car they were driving, did not match the car.  Authorities found that the plates had been switched  and Daniels has been charged for switching the plates, reports Las Cruces Sun News.  Arrangements are being made for them to reunite with their families.
