Marc Bohanan, 60, is missing from Glasford, Illinois since April 26, 2017. He can not stand without a cane and he cannot walk for than about 10 feet without a cane. If he falls he cannot get up by himself.
According to Marc’s daughter, Natalee Roseboom. her dad called a family member and asked him to pick him up at his home to go cash a check and to lunch. When the family member arrived before noon Marc was nowhere to be found. Natalee also stated that her dad always has dinner with his best friend on Wednesday’s and texted her with what he wanted to eat. She came by with his dinner, but he was not there and has not responded to any messages or calls. The dinner was found still in the bag on the table untouched. It is believed he never returned home after leaving the house Wednesday morning. Natalee believes someone her father knew picked him up.
Natalee posted about her missing father and has left this post for everyone to read:
“MARC BOHANAN. 60 yrs old. 200 lbs 6’2. Can not walk without a cane and not far with a cane. It’s been a week since I’ve seen my dad. I saw him headed out to his tractor last Wednesday after I dropped my daughter off at school. I honked we both waved. I wish I had stopped. We had plans together over the next few days and had just talked the night before. With him always laughing at the things I get myself into and how I should really stop trying to fix things myself and call him to do them. How we both know Chuck’s laughing down at me everytime I fire up that mower. I’m still holding hope and praying non stop. I drop my daughter at school and I search everyday til she’s out. Spend time with her try and work and then search some more. I feel whoever took my dad is very scared. Accidents happen, arguments happen, if it’s money you want let us know we are working with the Sheriff’s department on a Reward. God forgives and so do we. We just want him home. I’ll continue to pray for you as I do for my dad. I pray that he is found safe and not harmed. The guilt can be overwhelming and scary. I pray for you to find it in your heart to let us know where you dropped him off or left him. I pray that it is a safe location and out of the elements. Maybe you’re not fully aware of his condition and that he can not help himself get up. Please find it in your heart to let us know where you last left him and may God be with you and those helping us to bring him back home. Everything I say is from my personal feelings nothing other than that. My father still has not been seen or heard from since Wednesday April 26th. If you’ve seen anything off or questionable please tell us or the Sheriff’s department. We have things coming in nonstop and everything is helpful til we bring him home.”
If you have any information or have seen him, please call the Peoria police at 309-634-5664.
Since you’re here
I have a small favor to ask. More people are reading Missing Persons of America than ever and asking for their family member to be shared here. I do it because I believe that every single missing person matters, and they all need equal attention. It can’t be done any quicker, and with no boundaries than social media. Last year, I was bombarded daily with more and more cases to share and found myself falling behind as I work 10 hours a day to feature missing people. Also, the network has grown so large that we are in need of an internet host that can serve the growth, so the website does not go down. Many don’t realize that Missing Persons of America independent, investigative posting takes a lot of time and hard work to produce. Frankly, I need funds. If everyone who reads this website, who likes it, can help, our future would be much more secure. For as little as $1, you can support Missing Persons of America and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
