UPDATE 8/4/17 – Jamie has been found by friends who went looking for her near where her car was crashed. She had crashed her car off East Childs Avenue in Le Grand and was found “barely alive” according to her mother. She was taken to the hospital, reports the Modbee.com.
Original Story: Jamie Tull, a kindergarten teacher from Riverbank in Merced County California has gone missing. Jamie was last since Monday July 17, 2017 after she was in a car accident. She drove off the road into fences.
Jamie called her husband, Apollo Tull and said, “I’m not going to see you again,” reports The Modesto Bee. Jamie then crashed the car. Apollo heard music and then his wife came back on the phone and she told him where she was. Apollo text his father to call 911 and drove to the scene at Childs and Cunningham Road in Merced County, with Jamie’s mother. When Apollo got there the police were there but Jamie was gone.
Merced County Sheriff’s Department Detective Chris Sziraki said authorities searched for Jamie Tull by ground and by air.
“We also utilized a tracking dog during the search but the scent was lost,” Sziraki told the Modesto Bee.
Tull is 5’8″ tall and 130 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. She may wear glasses. The family of missing Riverbank woman is now offering a $100,000 reward for her safe return.
Police stated that Jamie is bi-polar and may need medical assistance. If you see her, call the Merced County Sheriff’s Department at 209-385-7445.
