Ashanti Billie last seen at Little Creek Naval Amphi Base FOUND

Eric Brian Brown, 45, is charged with kidnapping and murder in connection with Ashanti’s death.

UPDATE 10/28/17 – A new video has been released by the police department that shows someone getting out of Ashanti’s car and throwing something into a trash bin.  It is the same dumpster that the police found her cell phone.

UPDATE 10/1/17 – Ashanti’s body was positively identified.

UPDATE 9/30/17 – A landscaper at the East Stonewall AME Zion Church found a body.  The body is believed to be Ashanti’s.

UPDATE 9/2717 – The police have released a video of Ashanti’s car.

The FBI says Ashanti then drove to Gate 1 and entered the base there around 5 a.m. She never arrived for work and never made it to her college classes that day. Later in the day, the car was seen leaving Gate 1, but it is unclear who was driving it.

Ashanti Billie, 19, has been missing from Virginia Beach, VA since Monday, Sept. 18.  She was seen around the 4400 block of Bonney Road at the Midtown at Town Center Apartments and the Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base.

Ashanti works at Blimpie’s sub shop at the Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base and her parents told WAVY news that  her car was seen entering then leaving the base, a short time later, on security camera footage, but you could’nt see who was driving. Ashanti’s Mini Cooper was located Saturday, though she is still missing. Her cell phone was found in a dumpster on Tallyho Terrance in Norfolk.

Ashanti is 4’11” tall and 133 pounds.
