Desirea Ferris, 18, has been missing from Liberty, Missouri since May 2, 2017. She left her home on May 1 to meet with friends at their house.
Her phone last pinged blocks away. The family narrowed Desirea’s last cell phone pings to two areas, an abandoned house in a wooded neighborhood and the house in Marlborough. Both are known for drug activity. Desirea has not been on social media or her phone since then, reports KSHB news.
Her mother, Patti Tam of Liberty, fears the worst. Her family states, Desirea was not taking drugs and why her phone would be in that area, does not make sense. She’s been told by police that they have identified subjects of interest, and she suspects one man who knew her daughter is involved, reports the Kansas City News.
Tips have stated they have seen her, but it has not lead to locating Desirea. Desiree Ferris is 5 feet, 1 inch, 101 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She might have been wearing a fuzzy pink jacket and a cream crop top, and carrying a tan purse.
Anyone who has information on Desirea’s whereabouts should call the Liberty Police Department at 916-439-4701, or make an anonymous tip with the TIPS Hotline. The family is offering a $4,000 reward.
