UPDATE 12/23/17 – The family and authorities report that Mary was located.

Mary “Violet” Durrett , 16, is a missing person from Texas.

Mary who has special needs left her home in the Museum District to go for a walk in Houston.  She was last seen near Hermann Park on Thursday, December 7, 2017.   She did not take her phone or any money and was wearing a sweater.  She never returned home, and that evening there was snow and the temperature dropped.

Mary is in desperate need of her required medication, according to her mother Katrina. Mary has an 8” scar on her left thigh, and several scars on her arm. Mary was last thought to be wearing weathered-looking jeans with holes in the knees, a mustard-yellow cardigan sweater with possibly a maroon sweatshirt underneath, and tennis shoes. One side of Mary’s nose is pierced with a stud, while the other side is pierced with a loop.
