William Ellis, 25, is missing from Michigan
November 6, 2018 – William Ellis is still missing. His mom put up an open letter to him on the Will Ellis website:
“My dearest son Will,
I am writing to you in hopes that you will see this letter or that someone who knows where you are will read it and convey my message to you. All that I want is for you to be safe and healthy. Please know that we all love you with all our hearts and miss you terribly and I ask that you contact me to please confirm that you are alive and well. I promise you thatI will do nothing but help you in any way that you wish – you can come home if you want and be assured that you’ll be safe and free from any judgements or pressure and know that you are unconditionally loved.I pray for you every day and night and trust that God will guide you back to us.Please, please let me hear from you! I love you with all my heart!!
William Ellis was last seen at the Henry Ford-Wyandotte Medical Facility on November 21 where he was being treated for hypothermia. For some unknown reason William left the hospital without his clothes, his money or ID. He never returned home. The family believes he may be homeless on the streets and may also frequent vegan restaurants.
Deputy Police Chief Archie Hamilton said, “We entered Mr. Ellis in the Law Enforcement Information Network database as an endangered missing.”
William’s sister, Angela Ellis Weedon posted her family is distraught over her brother’s disappearance.
“Will has been missing for 16 days. We have been worried sick- this just doesn’t make sense! It’s freezing in Michigan and we cannot bear the thought of Will out in the cold. Could you PLEASE do our family the favor of sharing this post again if you were one of the over 4600 people who shared it before? We have faith he will be found, but you cannot imagine our concern and grief. We have had credible evidence to support that he has been seen in the Southgate/Down River area of Detroit. But we just cannot find him. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. Thank you!”
She described her brother as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing less than 120 pounds. He has sandy brown hair and brown eyes. William is a vegan and could be near health food stores or restaurants in the area. He also could be homeless.
If you have information on his whereabouts contact the Wyandotte police at 734-324-4405.
Since you’re here
I have a small favor to ask. More people are reading Missing Persons of America than ever and asking for their family member to be shared. I do it because I believe that every single missing person matters, and they all need equal attention. It can’t be done any quicker, and with less boundaries than social media. Last year, I was bombarded daily with more and more cases to share. I found myself falling behind as I work 10 hours a day to feature missing people. Also, the network has grown so large that we are in need of an internet host that can serve the growth, so the website does not go down. Many don’t realize that Missing Persons of America independent, investigative posting takes a lot of time and hard work to produce. Frankly, I need funds. If everyone who reads this website, who likes it, can help, our future would be much more secure. For as little as $1, you can support Missing Persons of America and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
