Missing Person Louisiana Sara Surgi
Sara Surgi, 25, was last seen at her sister’s apartment in Chicago on the summer of 2016. She went for a visit and then left. The last known contact in Chicago was with a friend who last heard from her in August 2016. According to the friend, Sara had been saving money to leave Chicago. Sara told her friend she had a desire to “live in the wild.” Prior to this, Sara had been isolating herself from family and friends to the point that she got rid of her cell phone and cell phone number, her car, her computer and email address, and all other possessions, and would not tell her family or friends how to contact her. Her phone calls were from “unknown”, and she would not disclose where she was living. She also abandoned her cats, and did not respond to an offer from a prestigious college that she had always wanted to attend. In October 2016, she was located in Portland, Oregon. There have been no records of her location since that time.
Beth, Sara’s mom told me that, “I think she may be homeless but couldn’t really say. I am concerned that she could be in the wilderness “camping”, and of course for her safety.”
