Texas mother drove away from friends house and never made it home

UPDATE January 21, 2019 –

A volunteer search party has found the body that is possibly Emily Wade on Monday, according to the Ennis Police Department. The body was found at Chambers Creek off Ensign Road

“The Ennis Police Department would like to share our appreciation for all of the volunteers and assisting agencies that have spent countless hours over the past two weeks searching for Emily Wade,” the police statement said. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Emily Wade.” It was noted that the creek was flooded on the night that Emily went missing.

Original Story: Emily Wade, 38, has been missing from Ennis, Texas since Saturday, January 5, 2019. Emily went to her frien’s house on Clay Street to eat pizza and watch a movie. She was last seen driving away from a friend’s house around 8:30 p.m.

“We just want her home,” said Jared Jones, the father of Emily Wade’s 7-year-old daughter. The couple shares custody.

Jared Jones, Emily’s boyfriend posted, “If anyone in the Ennis, Tx. area has seen or heard from Emily Wade since Saturday at 530 p.m. please message me. Her family, her daughter and I are very worried. she was last seen in her mother’s silver 2009 Nissan Altima with Kentucky license plates.”

Please keep a look out for Emily and the car that she was driving, a 2012 silver Nissan Altima with Kentucky license plates 411 PAZ.
