Jennifer Scott Perkins goes missing driving her car, phone pings in Liberty County

February 16, 2019 – Texas EquuSearch says they have found a car similar to the one Jennifer Ann Scott-Perkins was seen driving in the Trinity River, There is a body inside, reports, reports ABC13 .

Jennifer Scott Perkins, 48, was last seen seen around 6:15 am on the morning of January 2, 2019 in the 600 block of Gilpin Street in Shepherd, Texas in San Jacinto County, at a friend’s house. She was driving away in her grey 2012 Chrysler 200 with Texas license plate LJK0423. It is not known where she was going, although her cell phone shows she was in or at least driving through Rye in Liberty County.

Jennifer made several phone calls near Highway 146 and Highway 787 near Rye, in north Liberty County, reports KTRK news, and she sounded upset during a call. The direction could indicate she was heading back home to Houston.

Lauren, Jennifer’s daughter posted, “I miss my mom. My biggest fear is that this search goes on for six months or more. I have to get up everyday and live my life not knowing if she’s eaten anything, taken her medicine, or if she’s even still alive. I just want to hear her voice.”

Although social media has said they spotted her in several places around Shepherd, no one has produced any photos of those encounters or they were cases of mistaken identity.

Jennifer Scott Perkins has blonde hair and green eyes, 5’2″ tall, weighing 140 pounds, and with a petite build. Her hair was in a braided ponytail and up in a headscarf. Jennifer might go by the alias name Jennifer Ann Scott.
