March 19, 2019 – Diane Alejandra Keel’s remains were found. An autopsy showed she died from blunt force trauma and stab wounds.
Diane’s husband Lynn was arrested in connection with her murder. He was captured on Sunday by Arizona State Police, 34 miles from the U.S. border with Mexico. His trial began in 2019, but have not seen that there has been a confusion to the trial. Lynn’s first wife died from an accident when she fell down a flight of stairs.
March 13, – A body has been found was found by a DOT worker in Edgecombe County woods. The body has not been identified by authorities, WRAL reported, but it is likely her. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death, but Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone said, “there is definitely foul play involved,” according to the TV station. Diana’s husband is considered a person of interest.
Original Story: Diana Keel, 38, has been missing since Friday, March 8, 2019. She has not shown up at work as an emergency room nurse. According to the Nash County Sheriff’s Dept., “[she] was last seen by her husband, Lynn Keel, on Friday, 03/08/2019.”
On Tuesday, the police showed up at her house at the 200 block of Old Country Home Road and put up crime scene tape.
Diana’s daughter posted on Twitter, “You guys, my mom is missing… if you see or hear anything please please let me know. And please please retweet this. Help me get the word out. Thank you.”
Diana Keel is hispanic with brown hair, hazel eyes and 5’2″ tall and 150 pounds.
