Tracy Avilez, 45, is missing from San Bruno, California since September 18, 2018.
Nicole Hamilton, Tracy’s sister told KTVU news that she and her family have spoken to people who have “not been truthful” about Avilez’s whereabouts.
“Although my sister Tracy had recently fallen on hard times and had been staying with friends, she remained in constant contact with her oldest son and her youngest daughter,’’ Hamilton told KTVU. “For her to simply vanish without so much as a word to either of them is completely uncharacteristic of her. We are worried for her safety.”
Hamilton posted on social media with more details in December, “
“My sister Tracy Avilez (Tracy Bishop) has been missing and not in touch with anyone since September 18th, 2018. This is uncharacteristic for Tracy to have ZERO contact with anyone.
Since that time, we have spoken in great length to various individuals Tracy is associated with as well as law enforcement, and we have tried to trace her last steps, however as of today, we still do not know where she is or more importantly, if she is ALIVE/SAFE.
Tracy’s cell phone last “pinged” near Lion’s Field in San Bruno – a search, including the use of cadaver dogs was conducted and yielded no results.
Her last known sighting was in San Bruno California. She is known to frequent numerous cities along the Peninsula, (South San Francisco, Millbrae, Burlingame, San Mateo, Palo Alto, Redwood City), as well as San Francisco. *Her passport has NOT been used. *She currently does not drive a motor vehicle, so there is no vehicle information to post at this time.”
Avilez is 5’7″ tall, thin with green eyes, blonde or light brown hair hair. She has a tattoo of a sunflower on her upper left arm, a “sleeve” of tattoos on her right arm, and a sun tattoo near her neckline.
