UPDATE: Jamie, Camarato’s sister, wrote on Facebook that her brother’s body was found.
“We had all hoped for a positive outcome and that we would bring him home safely, but sadly that is not the case,” she wrote. “His body washed up on shore last night. He is finally free of the water and is resting peacefully up above, watching down on us all. He is our most handsome angel now. Rest easy Adam. I love you more than you will ever know.”
UPDATE: – Adam Camarato has likely been found. The Newington Fire Department received a call from a resident on Fox Point Road, saying there a was body on the shore. The body was then recovered, and the family has been notified that it might be Adam. Police are investigating how the body ended up in the water. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
Original Story: Adam Camarato, 32, has been missing from Eliot, Maine since Saturday, April 27, 2019. He was last seen leaving the Clipper Tavern on Pleasant Street in Portsmouth, NH, around 12:46 a.m.
Adam was planning on picking up his two sons for a visit, but he did not show up. He also has not shown up at his job at the Middle Street Meat Market in Portsmouth.
Adam’s sister, Jamie Fultz told Bangor Daily News that “her brother went out to dinner with his boss and his email includes a receipt for a Lyft ride to dinner at 9 p.m. Friday. He then went to the tavern with a friend who reported he went to the restroom and when he returned, Camarato was gone, his sister said. After the email about the Lyft ride, there are no further emails, she said.”
Adam Camarato is 5’10” tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and wears a beard. He has many tattoos, including a lion on his chest and a pierced septum. He was last seen wearing a ball cap with an unknown insignia, a dark long-sleeved top and jeans.
