UPDATE 5/19/19 – More information is coming out on this case and it gets more and more disturbing. Desiree Figueroa, 24, confessed to helping her mom, Clarisa Figueroa, 46, strangle Ochoa to death with a coaxial cable, and cut the baby from her womb. Ochoa’s body was found in a dumpster. Piotr Bobak, 40 was charged with hiding a homicide.
Ochoa went there in the first place to pick up some clothes for her baby that was due any day. Ochoa-Lopez made the arrangements with Clarisa Figueroa to meet her through a Facebook group.
The baby boy, Yadiel Yovany Lopez, remains hospitalized on life support and is in grave condition, presumably from a lack of oxygen before birth.

UPDATE 5/9/19 – A baby has been found barely alive in a dumpster in an alley in the Hermosa neighborhood in the 1700 block of North Keystone Avenue., reports the Chicago Sun Times. The baby is now in the hospital and the family will be asking the courts to do a DNA test to see if the baby belongs to Marlen Ochoa-Uriostegui.
Marlen Ochoa-Uriostegui, 19, is missing from Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side in Illinois. She was last seen leaving Latino Youth High School in Pilsen on the 2000 block of South California Avenue on April 23, 2019. She is pregnant and Sunday, May 5, 2019 her baby was due.
Police say she may have been driving a black 2002 Honda Civic with the license plate AW27865. She would have been heading to pick up her son at the Teddy Bear Day Care on Pulaski Avenue.
“The family says surveillance video at the school shows Uriostegui walking off campus alone at 3:06 p.m. and appeared to be texting on her phone,” according to the MPCN.
Her husband told WGNTV news that he was texting with her and thought she might be close to going into labor. The daycare called her husband when she didn’t show up to pick up her son.
Ochoa-Uriostegui has brown eyes and brown hair and is 5’3″ tall, 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater and sweatpants along with a maroon top with the Latino Youth High School logo on it. She wears a small nose ring.
Police have asked anyone with information on her whereabouts to call 911 or the Special Victim’s Unit at (312) 747-8274.
Another woman from Chicago also went missing and is also pregnant. Kierra Coles was last seen Oct. 2, 2018 reports the Chicago Tribune.
