Luis Rangel missing from Houston, car found burned FOUND

June 19, 2019 – Skeletal remains found on June 13, 2019 in the 11800 block of Ferndell Street at Furay Road, has been determined to belong to Luis Rangel.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez during a press interview said a dog found the human skull. The case is considered a homicide.

Luis Rangel, 22, is missing from Houston, Texas. He was last seen near the 8600 block of Jenson Drive and Tidwell Road on May 16, 2019. He called his mom to tell her he was on his way home but he never showed up. He never showed up at his job the next morning, either.

On May 19, his Nissan Altima was found burned on the inside at the 6000 block of Townsan Road in Humble, reports ABC 13.

Investigators told ABC13 Eyewitness News they are looking for surveillance video and any other clues from those who may have been with Rangel.

Luis is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 125 pounds. He was wearing Adidas cap, red shirt and blue jeans and black shoes with green laces.
