December 5, 2019 – Ricardo Marquez, 28, has been arrested and charged with Andrea Gaytan’s murder. The El Paso police stated that he killer her inside his home and used a relative’s Jeep to move her body. Authorities stated that Marquez was Gaytan’s date for the concert and he told the police they parted ways and she left in an Uber, but what actually happened is he took her to his home on Nehemiah where they had an argument and he killed her. Gaytan’s body is still missing but the police affidavit stated enough evidence as gathered to lead them to believe she is deceased.
August 2, 2019 – According to the New York Post, Gaytan faced 66 charges of credit card abuse and an accusation of criminal mischief stemming from a 2017 case, local outlet KVIA reported. A warrant has been issued for Gaytan’s arrest. Although family and friends believe that Erika is not missing on purpose, it seems the police do.

Gaytan was seen at the concert with her date but they parted ways. Gayton left in an Uber, according to KVIA.
Erika Gaytan is 5-foot, 4-inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair and a pierced lower lip who was last seen wearing a white dress.
