UPDATE Jan 26, 2019 – The remains of Alex Holden has been found. The Help Find Alex Holden Facebook page posted, “Thank you everyone for your help and support in helping to find Alex. This isn’t the outcome we had hoped for, as we received devastating news this evening . With heavy hearts we have learned Alex was found deceased today at 3:00 p.m on the American River Bike trail. Law enforcement has indicated that no foul play was involved.”
Alex Holden, 25, from California was last seen leaving his apartment on I Street in Sacramento, around 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2019.
Holden was last seen by his girlfriend, Kennedi Perri who said he had been drinking and went for a walk after an “emotional” talk. He reportedly left the apartment on foot around 2:30 a.m. It is believed he was heading to South Natomas. He took his white iPhone 7, keys, debit card, ID and AirPods. His phone goes straight to voicemail and there has been no activity on his bank account.
Holden’s father, Calvin, along with volunteers are searching for Alex, and they held a search party over the weekend. Alex grew up in Missouri and moved to Sacramento to work for Amazon. Calvin stated Alex has not shown up for work.
Perri posted, “I am shocked and saddened to be sharing this. My significant other, Alexander Holden went missing around 2:30 am Tuesday morning 12/31 NYE in Midtown Sacramento, California after he left our apartment. If you have any information please message me, and continue to share. Really, hoping and praying and wanting him home safe. I love you so much sweetie.”
It’s believed he was heading to the Northern Bikeway.
Holden is just over 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Last seen wearing khaki’s and a Patagonian pullover and Birkenstock sandals.
