UPDATE 4/1/21 – Human remains that were found in Iowa belong to missing Breasia Terrell. Breasia had spent the night at an apartment belonging to her half-brother’s father, 48-year-old Henry Dinkins, according to police.
Dinkins, who is a registered sex offender was named a person of interest in her disappearance and is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges.
Original Story: Terrell was last seen Friday, July 10, 2020 morning in the 2700 block of East 53rd St. in Davenport, Iowa.
Saturday Lankford told TV6 around 9:13 p.m. on Thursday, the girl had texted “‘Good night, mommy. I love you.‘”
“And I had texted her back and I told her ‘good night, I love you too.’”
I am not clear where Breasia was at when she sent the text. Was she in the house, maybe in your bedrooms or was she over by East 53rd Street where she was last seen?
Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning, authorities focused part of their search at the lagoon at Credit Island. Friday evening, at the lagoon was a boat from the Davenport Fire Department, officers and detectives from the Davenport Police Department, and a Crime Scene Unit vehicle.
On Wednesday morning the police stated the man arrested on Friday on a registry violation was Henry Earl Dinkins of Davenport, 47, and he has not been arrested or formally charged but “they believe he has information that could assist the investigation or possess certain characteristics that merit further attention by investigators,” per KWQC news.
