UPDATE: The remains of Laura Wolfe-Orlovich have been found. The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office said a farmer harvesting corn identified human remains on the outskirts of the area that law enforcement had searched before, according to the sheriff’s office. The authorities determined that the remains belong to Laura. La Porte County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lynn Ware Jr., 39, of Martin, Tennessee, for her murder.
Original Story: Laura Wolfe-Orlovich, 46, from Illinois has been missing since July 15, 2020, when she traveled to Kalamazoo, MI with a friend known by the nickname “Snoop”. The two were last seen leaving her residence in Marion, Illinois.
According to media reports, Laura told friends that she was going to Michigan to help “Snoop” with the death of his son and would be returning on July 17. Then on July 16, Laura called her roommates trying to find a way home from Kalamazoo, MI. She called back the next day and sounded desperate trying to figure out how to get home. A man could be heard in the background yelling at her.
She has not been heard from since, and Laura’s phone has been turned off. Amber, Laura’s daughter said there has been no activity on her mom’s phone or social media since July 17.

Laura is 5’6″ and weighs 200 pounds, waist-length wavy light brown hair with blonde highlights and bangs, and blue eyes. Laura has two tattoos. A tattoo that goes across her lower back and a hummingbird and flower tattoo on her upper thigh.
