UPDATE: 2/21/21 – Tribal Chairman Frank White Clay confirmed that a body found on the reservation the day before belonged to Mildred Alexis Old Crow She was found in Garyowen.
According to the Billings Gazette, Veronica Tierza Dust, 34, and Roseen Lincoln Old Crow, 34, were charged in January for endangering the welfare of a child, and later charged with custodial interference.
Original Story: Mildred Alexis Old Crow, 8, is missing from the Crow Indian Reservation. She was last seen on March 2019, in the care of her guardian.
The FBI release stated that the search for Mildren began on November 19, 2020 when her relatives told the BIA police that they had not seen her since July 2018. An investigation was able to track sightings of her up to March 2019 on the Crow Indian Reservation. She has not been seen since then.
Law enforcement posted they are searching for the whereabouts of two females traveling in a white 2009 Volkswagen touareg G2 TD with Montana license plates 22-7540C. My assumption is that these are Mildred’s guardians.
A Missing Endangered Person Advisory (MEPA) states that it is possible Mildred has physical injuries, but no further information as to why she might possible have injuries.
Mildred has brown hair, brown eyes, and is small in stature for her age.
Anyone with information is asked to call BIA Law Enforcement at Crow Agency at 406-638-2631 or the FBI at 801-579-1400.
