The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has requested that SLED’s Behavioral Analysis Unit look into four missing women to see if there are any links or similarities between them. I also, think they should look at the four missing women in Robeson County, too, to see if there are any similarities.
Now, to be accurate, one of the four missing women, Renee King is not missing. She was found dead earlier this week near Rufus Land Road in Westminster. She likely died November 28, 2020. The other three woman, Laura Anders, went missing Jan 2, 2019, Pamela Roach went missing Feb 4, 2019, and Tammy Stubblefield went missing Dec 6, 2019, and they have not yet been found. See map below for their last known locations in Oconee County South Carolina.
Back in 2019, I wrote up a story about remains found in Oconee County. At that time I thought it might be remains for the four missing women from Robeson County. But, I am wondering since the police have recently announced they are still looking for the four missing women from Oconee, that the remains found did not belong to them.
Back in 2019, I did a story about four missing women from Robeson County North Carolina, Cynthia Jacobs, Megan Ann Oxedine, Christina Bennett and Rhonda Jones. Christina and Rhonda were all found dead on April 18, 2017 in an area between East Fifth and East Ninth streets in Robeson County. Christina was found in a vacant house by the railroad tracks on the 500 block of Peachtree Street. Jones was found in a trash can outside a vacant building on East 5th Street. Megan was found deceased on June 3, 2017 in bushes behind a vacant house on the 600 block of East 8th Street. Interestingly, Megan spoke during in the WNCN interview about knowing Rhonda. You can see that video here.
Cynthia went missing from Chippewa which is near Fifth Street on July 2017. But her disappearance went unnoticed by media.
Cynthia Jacobs went missing from Chippewa Street. See map of Fifth and Chippewa Streets.
Also, Abby Lynn Patterson went missing on Sept. 5, 2017 from 9th Street. Although police say it is not related. 9th Street is near Chippewa.
I was keeping track of any more remains found in that area for awhile, but see nothing reported in 2020 and 2021. I wondered if the person had moved to another area.
