Original Story: Katlin Gallaread is missing from San Francisco, Calif. She was last seen on February 16, 2021 on a video camera outside her home in the 1300 block of Webster Street in the Laguna Heights area.

I spoke with Katlin’s dad and he told me that after dinner she went to bed at 9 p.m. He said he also went to bed. When he got up the next morning he knocked on her door, like he always does to make sure she got up. He then left to go buy food for lunch.

“When I got home and made lunch I checked on Katlin again to tell her lunch is ready,” said Jason. “Whenever its food she usually drops everything and runs to eat. she loves to eat.”

But, Katlin didn’t respond so he went to check and found she was not in her room. He checked the rest of the house and she wasn’t there. He called her phone but she didn’t answer or respond to text.

Jason even called his mom, just to see if maybe she had stopped by to pick up Katlin, but she had not.

Extremely worried, Jason went back to Katlin’s room again and this is when he found a note where she said she was tired of school and being stuck inside all the time.

That night at 11:34 p.m. a withdrawal was made from her account in Chinatown. A few days later another withdrawal was made that drained the account in Sacramento, California.

Then a surveillance video from neighbors captures Katlin outside the house at 9:44 p.m. She has not been heard from since.

Jason is actively out looking for his daughter and posted, “”Katlin, I love you, we’re looking for you, we miss you, your mother came out to California so she’s hoping she can see you too. So if you can call her, call somebody from the family, let us know you’re okay and that you’re safe. We miss you and we hope you come back soon, baby.”

When Jason first began posting about his missing daughter, he was having trouble getting a quick response, something that can happen in any missing case. On February 22 he posted: “Katlin Has been missing since the 17th. Due to red tape the @sfpdofficial. Has been unable to get ATM footage or residential footage to see what happened, to my daughter. They are unable to see what car she got in, and unable to confirm if its even her using the ATM in Chinatown or Sacramento. #prayforkatlin bring my baby home. Give the police the tools they need to find my daughter.”

He began leading a protest and carrying signs (click link to see protest) to let people know that his daughter was missing.

Then on February 23, he posted:

“I thank everyone that came to the protest and I want to tell everyone that it WAS A SUCCESS. The police have been approved to gather footage from the apartment and other areas requested. #SFPD can now continue to work vigorously to #findkatlin and bring her home safely. I thank you all for the support and posting. Lets continue to put her face out there and spread the word. Also there will be a news broadcast at 10pm about Katlin on KTVU. Please watch share and spread the word. Lets find Katlin and thank you all for the hard work and dedication to finding Katlin. I LOVE YOU ALL AND THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.”

Katlin is 5’1″ tall and 90 pounds.

So far, this is no information on the vehicle she is in or whom she is with. Since this it was realized she was traveling with Tyler Sexton and they were using public transit. The last known location being Sacramento, if you are in that area, please keep an eye out for Katlin and notify the police if you see her. Anonymous tips can be sent here and I will get them to the police.

If you see her please call the SFPD at (415) 575-4444.
