Baby Gabriel: Father of missing baby breaks silence

The trial of Elizabeth Johnson, who is charged with kidnapping and child abuse of missing Baby Gabriel Johnson, will begin in August.

During the hearing Logan McQueary, Gabriel’s father said that he has been silent for a while because he didn’t want to say anything that would mess up the case against Elizabeth.

Tammi Smith, who is a friend of Elizabeth and charged with forgery and custodian interference regarding Gabriel, will start her trial in September.

After the hearing Logan said, “I still have to think about that fact that I don’t know if I’ll ever give him a funeral or if he’s out there. I didn’t even get to celebrate his first birthday with him.”

Anyone with information about Gabriel Johnson is asked to call the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311.
