Caylee Anthony: Casey not guilty

Although Caylee Anthony is no longer missing, after her skeleton remains were found in 2008, the trial of her mother, Casey for the murder of Caylee, came to a dramatic end today, that warrants a comment in this blog.

Casey was found not guilty of murder, aggravated manslaughter or aggravated child abuse.

I don’t know how in the world someone would not be charged with  child abuse, when that had no knowledge of where their child was, nor made any attempt to report them missing.

Nancy Grace first referred to Casey Anthony as the “tot mom” and she will be talking tonight about the shocking news and it will replay all night tonight on HLH.

Watch Nancy Grace live tonight 8-10 to hear her discuss the outcome of the trial.

A civil trial is set for August 29, 2011, between  Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman that Casey named as the person who was Caylee’s babysitter, and Casey.  Gonzalez has filed a defamation suite seeking compensatory and punitive damages for Casey allegedly willfully damaging her reputation.

Casey will be sentences on Thursday, July 7th for the other charges she was convicted of, providing false information to a law enforcement officer.  Because Casey has already spent years in prison, it is possible she may be released on that day for time served.

Regardless, I am willing to bet, it won’t be long before Casey will be in front of a Judge again for something else she as done.
