Shanna Peoples: Teen missing from Geneva Alabama

Shanna Peoples, 19, was last seen at her parents home on Campbell Avenue in Geneva, Alabama on September 8th.

Shanna had previously been living with a 40-year-old man, against her parent’s wishes, and they were happy when she decided to come back home and stay with them.  Then on September 8, she went for a walk and never returned.

“The individual that she was living with at the house, he was at work, she was basically there by herself other than the second individual that came up and notified the parents that she wasn’t there. He came up and seen the door open and knew it was unusual and when he called for her and got not answer he thought that she had walked down to her parents who were living down the road so he goes down there and she’s not there, he knew that was very unusual, at that time they called us and said she was missing, ” says Lt. Ricky Morgan of the Geneva Police Department.

Shanna is considered vulnerable as she is mentally challenged and has the mental capacity of a 12-14 year old.

Shanna is very tall at 6 feet.  She ways 120 pounds and has dark blonde straight hair and brown eyes.  She takes medication and she does not talk much and has a speech impediment.

There is a $5,000 reward for information about her whereabouts.
